Concrete Coring and Sawcutting
Core drilling and flat sawing for structural investigation, utility routing, and controlled access.

Seylone provides concrete coring, sawcutting, and controlled penetration services across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, including New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Florida, Texas, and Vermont. Coring and sawcutting deliver clean, controlled openings through reinforced concrete, masonry, and structural elements — supporting structural investigation, utility routing, mechanical access, slab removal boundaries, and any project where precision is required and impact methods are not.
Crews perform core drilling through reinforced concrete slabs, walls, beams, columns, and foundations in diameters from 1" to 12"+. Flat sawing delivers controlled cuts for pavement, utility trenches, and removal boundaries. Wall sawing and wire sawing are available for vertical work and oversized openings beyond standard core capacity. GPR and pachometer scanning are performed prior to cutting where required to locate reinforcement, conduits, and post-tension cables.
Common applications include core sample retention for engineer-of-record inspection and laboratory testing, controlled penetrations for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing access, slab cutting for repair and replacement scopes, pavement cutting for utility trenching, and investigative openings in occupied buildings and active facilities. Work is performed with HEPA-filtered dust containment, noise barriers, and silica exposure control per OSHA Table 1 requirements.
Seylone works as a specialty subcontractor to structural and civil engineering firms and as a direct contractor to building owners, transportation agencies, and construction managers. Mobilization is fast and self-contained, with no third-party coordination layer between the design team and the field.
